Sometimes we know the words, but the full meaning and depth of those words escapes us.
There is no short-cut to getting to grips with the Bible, just as there is no short-cut to acquiring any meaningful knowledge, understanding, or skill. Rome was not built in a day, and your Christian life will not be built in a month of Sunday sermons.
