Poems

In my early years I used to write poetry all the time, but in recent days the muse has been more often absent than present. However, there are a few poems that I think merit inclusion in this site.

The first was written 5 years before I became a Christian, but demonstrates clearly that, although I had no interest in Christianity at that time, the Spirit of God was at work on me somewhere in the background.

The others were written more recently, with many years behind me of walking with God and the church.

I Will Not Be DefinedPeople have a tendency to put you in a box with a label that has you categorised and compartmentalised. Sometimes we even try to put God in a box - which is not a very sensible thing to do!
